Stopped in here for some german food and it did NOT disappoint. There's no german food near where I live and I've been wanting some. The jaeger schnitzel was amazing, maybe even the best mushroom sauce I've ever had. The wiener schnitzel was really good too. Sauerkraut and fried potatoes were delicious. This definitely hit the spot, and the staff were so welcoming as well. Will definitely eat here again the next time we are in the area!

Wonderful place! I saw it on the map and wanted to try it out since I love schnitzels. I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in - the decorations transported me to a cosy mountain hut in Bavaria! The staff were very friendly and when I ordered my food the cook personally came over to serve my schnitzel. I was delighted to see she's German herself and after I said 'Vielen Dank' we ended up having a chat entirely in German! Had to brush up on my language skills there, but the lady was kind and patient. A few of the other visitors seem to be regulars and they joined in as well. Overall, it was a very social and lovely experience and I was delighted with the magnificent schnitzel with mushroom sauce, kartoffelpuree (potato mash) and sauerkraut (sour cabbage)! Definitely would come again and recommend for anyone seeking that Bavarian experience here in the UK!

Went in here as our normal cafe smithtons at sharnans cross had stopped serving at 3.00. I have to say I was really impressed and so was my partner, great English breakfast and a very friendly and polite gentleman server. Would 100% recommend
